6th Annual Advanced Imaging Methods Workshop
January 21
– 23, 2009
Molecular Imaging Center
Cancer Research Laboratory
University of California
Berkeley
The
Advanced Imaging Methods Workshop is a 3-day event held in Berkeley, California,
on a wide range of imaging technologies and applications. Hosted by the University
of California Berkeley’s Molecular Imaging Center in conjunction with
Becker-Hickl GmbH and other corporate sponsors, this workshop brings together
internationally renowned researchers in a wide variety of fields, including
biology, chemistry, physics, engineering, and imaging science. Speakers are
invited from the campus community, as well as nearby imaging communities, and from
abroad. The focus of this year’s conference is Imaging Applications. We will be
exploring how new and innovative approaches to imaging further the discoveries
in the biological and physical sciences.
The
AIM workshop is meant for researchers of all backgrounds and experience, but
will be most beneficial to participants with a basic understanding of
microscopy techniques. If you are interested in learning more about microscopy,
interested to know what boundaries are being pushed, what research is being
done with new technology, what new techniques are being developed and how are
they being used, this is the workshop for you.
The
location of this year’s workshop will be the I-House, 2299 Piedmont Avenue adjacent to UC Berkeley’s main campus. The intimate setting of this
workshop will allow for plenty of interaction between speakers, participants,
and sponsors in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Registration
will open in October. Please refer back to this site for more information
regarding registration. Registration will be limited, so please check back often.
On-site registration will not be possible.
